This nesting doll was handmade by an artisan in a very traditional style. The smooth finish and bright contrasting colors make this babushka (aka babooshka) doll set a very unique item. The whole collection is designed and painted in a floral theme with an accent addition of sparkles. The largest matryoshka doll (mother) has 6 smaller dolls inside that graduate in size and fit inside each other. Carefully open each nesting doll in the middle to reveal the entire family. Beatiful set of dolls!
Yesterday I received the dolls and they are beautiful! The delivery was very fast, I received the packaged three days after I ordered it. The colors of the dolls are very nice and warm, the gold is sparkling which gives a nice touch. The dolls fit perfectly together. The green flower showing on the head of the large doll was not added which I actually like! Overall this is a great purchase and we will enjoy it for many years to come. Thank you!
