This stunning miniature lacquer box was hand painted in Palekh style. It features Princess Goldilocks awaiting for her prince sitting on a river shore. The scene is based on the Russian folk tale of Goldilocks (or Zlatovlaska in Russian). The box is initialed by an artist.
